Governed autonomy, proven on ourselves
Everyone now claims governed, auditable AI agents; almost no one applies it to themselves or shows the artifacts. The real risk of agentic systems is not a bad demo — it is ungoverned autonomy in production: a consequential action taken with no evidence, no gate, and no way to reconstruct what happened. Meta3Agents is the governed multi-agent platform Meta3Ventures runs its own operation on, and the proof it works is that the same doctrine runs two different internal production workflows: a market-intelligence system, and the studio's own venture operations — deal intelligence, deal CRM, and portfolio monitoring.
Both build on the same spine. The doctrine, enforced in code: asymmetric, tiered authority (stopping is cheap; starting and loosening are gated); agents propose and gates dispose; a four-level graded evidence vocabulary — asserted, observed, measured, validated, with refuted below — so nothing is presented above its real evidence state; evidence or it did not happen, with every claim carrying its validity scope; numbers are injected, never generated, so every numeral in a generated artifact (an LP letter, a verification report, or a case study like this one) must trace to injected evidence or the check fails closed; trust accrues incrementally through shadow, gated-active, and autonomous tiers unlocked only after graduation gates pass on real and fault-injected evidence; and a tamper-evident, hash-chained audit ledger where modifying, inserting, or reordering a recorded event is detectable against the chain. In the market-intelligence workflow, signals are generated and evaluated under the platform's tiered authority, but execution is paper-only and human-authorized — no live capital is deployed and no market-performance claim is made; the proof is the governance, not the returns.
The receipts are sourced, not asserted: a full suite of 5,397 tests passing with zero failures (verified 2026-08-04), 422 test files with roughly 9,850 assertions, two internal production workflows on one platform, a four-level machine-enforced evidence grade, a hash-chained tamper-evident ledger, and an unsourced-number guard that fails closed on any figure not backed by evidence. This is internal operating evidence — not independent customer validation, an investment- or market-performance claim, or a third-party certification. Most governance claims are definitions on a slide; this is the doctrine enforced in code, running two internal workflows, with the numbers guarded by the platform itself.
Meta3Agents governs and operates; Meta3Ventures runs on it.
